Weekly Progress Reports

Although weekly progress reports can be an effective communication tool, they provide limited information about a student’s academic performance or behavior in the classroom. Direct communication with your child’s teachers can be an effective tool in their success at school. It is always best for parents to communicate directly with their child’s teacher regarding any concerns or questions about their child’s progress. We strongly encourage parents to contact their child’s teachers when a concern or issue arises.  You can also access your child's grades and progress online through PowerSchool.  If you do not have your parent login, please come in to the front office and they will provide one for you.

Counselors Help Students Succeed in School

Helping develop positive attitudes among students towards self, family, and community. Counseling with students individually and in groups helps to understand and appreciate their unique qualities, and grow personally and socially, supporting students in developing an individual plan for academic success. Assisting students to become invested in their school success by showing them how school performance relates to career opportunities. Working collaboratively with students, parents, and teachers to identify and remove barriers that may impede student achievement. Facilitate building and district wide programs that reflect student academic goals and future career plans. Coursework planning to meet the demands of the Michigan Merit Curriculum.
